The protocol and the verifier are free forever. The Vault — the system of record that turns a scan into anchored, auditor-ready evidence — is the paid product, priced per AI system. Article 50 carries a penalty of up to €15M or 3% of worldwide turnover. Every plan below is a rounding error against that.

The protocol is owned by the LedgerProof Foundation, a California nonprofit (501(c)(3) application in process) — which is what keeps it open and free, for good.
the managed work
Billing gates the orchestration — anchoring, custody, monitoring, certification. It never gates creation or verification. Delete LedgerProof tomorrow and every receipt you hold still verifies against the public chain.
how it's priced
Each AI system you register carries its own Article 50 obligation set — so that's the unit you pay for. Everything else is designed not to nickel-and-dime you.

premium add-on · available now
Verifying is free. The Verified Evidence Package is the premium layer for the moment a single proof faces a litigation exhibit, a regulator's request, an audit workpaper, or an insurance claim — packaged so a third party can read, re-verify, and weigh it. Hash-only: your document never leaves your hands.
The engine verifies the full chain against the live public chain — content hash → entry → Merkle root → public chain — and fails closed on any mismatch. On success it returns a verification result, an attestation with its limits stated, the anchor evidence, a chain-of-custody record, and offline re-verification instructions.

# wrap your model call — every output gets a receipt from ledgerproof import vault receipt = vault.record( output, system="eu-support-bot", obligation="50(1)", ) # → signed with your key → anchored → verify_url
Or connect a webhook, a watcher on your own bucket, or the CI/CD capture hook so evidence is anchored the moment a model ships — its timestamp predates deployment.
how payment works
The consistent thread: every plan meters the same unit — the registered AI system and its proof lifecycle (emit → anchor → store → monitor → certify). Prices shown in € excluding VAT; £/$ figures are indicative conversions.
LedgerProof manufactures evidence, never a verdict — posture “green” means your evidence is complete and anchored, not that you are compliant; your auditor or counsel makes that call. Proofs are tamper-evident, not tamper-proof, and deepen with public-ledger confirmations. The €15M / 3% figure is the statutory Article 99 cap; national authorities set actual penalties. Not legal advice.
